5 Easy Steps to Setup Voucher Numbering in Tally Prime

In this video you will learn how to setup voucher numbering in Tally Prime.

Follow the steps below to setup voucher numbering in Tally Prime;

Step 1: On Gateway of Tally, go to masters > alter and choose the voucher type in which you want to setup numbering

Step 2: Find the option Method of voucher numbering and choose the numbering pattern you would like to set from the following options;

• Automatic
• Automatic (Manual Override)
• Manual
• Maulti-user Auto
• None

Step 3: If you choose Automatic or Automatic (manual override) or Multi user auto then use advance configuration option to define your numbeing pattern using prefix, suffix and restart numbering

Step 4: If you choose Manual then make sure you set option prevent duplicate to Yes

Step 5: Save the voucher type and record the voucher
