Follow the 5 easy steps below to define GST rate in Stock Items in Tally Prime;

Step 1: On Gateway of Tally, go to create or alter item master

Step 2: Press F12: Configuration and Enable Set GST Details option

Step 3: You will find an option GST Applicable, set it to Applicable

Step 4: You will find an option Set/Alter GST details, set it to Yes and define following informations for that stock item;

• HSN Description
• HSN Code
• Taxability
• Integrated GST Rate (CGST & SGST rates will be captured automatically)

Step 5: Save the item and it’s done!

If GST rates for a particular stock item has been revised time to time, you can find the history by pressing button W: Details
